An Artisan Food Market in coming to Café en Seine Next Month
Café en Seine is inviting you to ‘Meet the Maker’ at their Artisan Food Market this September
On Saturday September 28th, between 12 and 6pm, The Street Garden in the stunning Dawson Street bar will transform into a one day artisan food market. They’ve teamed up with a number of unique Irish food producers to showcase the authentic taste of Ireland.
Enjoy fresh fish and oysters, boutique wines, mouth-watering cheeses, delectable cakes and sweet treats, gluten free produce, freshly made goods and a whole lot more in the stunning, tree lined street garden.
The kitchen at Café en Seine use local Irish suppliers who are second to none in their approach to delivering the best sustainable ingredients for the chefs to work with and guests to enjoy. The dishes revolve around great ingredients which are showcased in the fantastic, seasonal menus created by Stephen Gibson and his kitchen team. Whether it’s the fresh Dooncastle Oysters, the succulent John Stone rib of beef or the sourdough, baked every morning by Michael Roth and his team, Café en Seine take pride in creating food that is honest, ethical and most importantly, delicious.
Café en Seine want to put food to the forefront and showcase some of the suppliers they work with all year around and give smaller producers a platform by introducing them to the customers that visit the venue all year round. At the Artisan Food Market, customers can pop in and meet the makers, taste what our island is producing and learn how to support our own food economy between 12-6pm.
Some of the producers confirmed so far include Wild About, Corleggy Cheese, Kish Fish, Boutique Wines with much more to be announced.
This event is part of Taste the Island.
