DublinTown Businesses Win Big at National Hospitality Awards 2018
Written by Yesterday evening the annual National Hospitality Awards 2018 took place in The Shelbourne Hotel, an awards ceremony that celebrates and recognises the best businesses in the country.
We are delighted to announce that a number of DublinTown businesses came out on top and we congratulate them all!
The industry awards for the Irish hospitality sector this year was tough competition that spanned across a number of categories. One of the biggest accolades, The Ivy Dublin on Dawson Street won the ‘Best New Establishment’ award, while Zozimus on Anne’s Lane won the ‘Best Bar’ award on the night, and La Cave Wine Bar won ‘Best Wine List’.
Another big award was awarded to The Westbury as ‘Best City Hotel’, No. 27 Bar & Lounge at The Shelbourne won ‘Best Hotel Bar’, while The Doyle Collection won the coveted ‘Best Hotel Group’ award whose Dublin hotels and restaurant include The Westbury and WILDE Dublin.
Pallas Foods came out on top winning ‘Best Catering Supplier (General)’, who are official partners of DublinTown Food & Drink Festival.
Many of the finalists were also DublinTown businesses, including The Sidecar at The Westbury, The Bank on College Green, The Westin, Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Luna, Taste at Rustic, Sinnotts Bar, Sheridans Cheesemongers, as well as groups O’Callaghan Collection and Press Up Entertainment Group.
