Kennedys of Westland Row

Established in 1850, Kennedys enjoys a long standing reputation as one of the finest watering holes in town. Situated on the corner of Trinity College and steeped in a literary tradition, today’s customers stand where Wilde, Joyce, Beckett and Behan once stood. It’s a wonderful feeling knowing you’re treading the same floorboards as the literary greats of our past. A young Wilde once worked in the building, before it became the well known bar it is today.

Renowned for its food offerings, the place is a buzz at lunch time, not to mention in the evenings where an extensive menu of wines, whiskeys, craft stouts and ales are on offer. Kennedy’s is a great spot to meet, eat, drink and chat…it has been ever since Oscar Wilde wore short pants!
