Dine in history – Wynn’s Hotel Easter 2016 Menu

Written by Lauren O'Hanlon on March 21, 2016. Posted in 1916 Culture Family Festival Food Food Offers Hotels Ireland

Established 1845. Destroyed 1916. Rebuilt 1926. Wynn’s Hotel is one of the most iconic hotel’s in Dublin City Centre. Looking for somewhere memorable to dine over the Easter weekend? Look no further than history itself.

It is said that Lady Gregory and W.B. Yeats himself often took up residence in the public rooms of Wynn’s Hotel. Unfortunately in 1916, the hotel was burnt to the ground after bombardment by British artillery. It took 10 years for the gutted hotel to reopen.

Why not feast in one of the most historical buildings in the city?

Wynn’s Hotel will host a special menu to celebrate the 1916 commemorations this weekend. Dine in their Ballroom on the first floor to avail of their carvery menu. All dishes are individually priced.

Alternatively join them in the Playwright Restaurant for lunch or dinner where the style of the restaurant will be based on 1916. Wynn’s Hotel 3 course menu will cost €30 and a children’s menu will also be available.
