Being gluten or wheat intolerant and finding somewhere to dine that has a choice of options can often be challenging!

To help make the decision easier, we have scoured a variety of menus and have come up with a selection of restaurants serving Coeliac friendly and/or gluten free meals. These dishes don’t compromise on taste and can be found on the restaurants day to day menus!

Blazing Salads

Drury Street, Dublin 2

Coeliac

A large selection of salads, savouries and sweets made daily on the premises with many free from wheat, yeast and dairy products. Their menu is constantly changing so plenty of variety to choose from! A tasty example is their Spiced Yellow Dahl with Toasted Peanuts and Fresh Coriander – Vegan, sugar and Gluten free!

Boulevard Cafe

Boulevard Cafe have many Coeliac friendly items on their lunch menu. Why not try their Roast Red Pepper Risotto with feta, parmesan and fresh rocket.

This spot has loads of Coeliac and Coeliac adaptable dishes. Keep an eye out for the (C) and (CA) next to the dishes on the menu to know which is which! How about Smoked BBQ 1/2 Chicken with a corn salsa, iceberg lettuce, buttermilk dressing and sweet potato fries?!

This little gem makes all their food fresh daily on sight. All their soups and stews are gluten free. Pop in on a cold winters day for a seafood chowder or spicy veg gumbo to warm the soul.

This spot is really Coeliac friendly and prides themselves on their organic, free range food sourced locally.  Have a sweet tooth? Try their Farm Surprise – Ice-cream, crushed meringue, fresh fruit, hazelnuts, fresh cream and gorgeous blueberry coulis.

Flanagan’s

O’Connell Street, Dublin 1

Dine in the heart of Dublin. Flanagan’s is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and caters for Coeliac’s. The Wicklow Lamb Shank features on the main menu consisting of champ mash with vegetables, topped with a pearl onion and rosemary jus.

Saba are one of Dublin city centre’s Thai food gurus. Make sure you try their gluten free curry, Gaeng Karee Fuktong. This dish consists of aromatic yellow butternut squash and sweet potato curry with onions and potatoes.
