Help shine the spotlight on the skills of the talented people behind the scenes in some of your favourite DublinTown restaurants as part of the inaugural DublinTown Food and Drink Festival.

The DublinTown Food and Drink Festival is a seven day celebration of all of the incredible beverage and cuisine experiences that the city has to offer. Bespoke events will be hosted in the network of cafes, restaurants, bars, hotels and coffee shops throughout DublinTown.

Some of the exciting cuisine experiences that we’re most looking forward to are as follows;

‘Pour your own beer and learn how to cook the perfect steak at FIRE Restauarant and Lounge’

For only €35 per person, each guest will learn how to cook the perfect steak and learn expert tips from one FIRE‘s magnificent chefs. Guests will not only enjoy the succulent steak with a selection of sides, but will also learn to pour the perfect pint of FIRE 1864, FIRE’s very own craft beer. A well-prepared steak is one of life’s great pleasures, and what better accompaniment to that than a pint of mouth watering craft beer.
This event takes place on Monday 15th, Tuesday 16th and Wednesday the 17th of October. Visit here for more information, and to purchase tickets.

‘Rachel Allen take over at The Gallery at The Church Restaurant’

Enjoy a 3 course meal specially designed and prepared by Ireland’s Queen of Cuisine, Rachel Allen. Get ready for a take over like no other at the beautiful and unique venue that is The Church Bar and Restaurant. The dinner will include three tasty dishes with wine, followed by a tea or coffee to finish. For one night only, you too can say that the magnificently talented Rachel Allen prepared you dinner.

‘Taste of Ireland Leisurely Lunch at SOLE Restaurant.’

You can indulge in the freshest seafood from sea to SOLE during the DublinTown Food and Drink Festival. With SOLE‘s Taste of Ireland seafood tower, you can indulge in the best seafood from around Ireland including Smoked Salmon from Howth, Dublin Bay Prawn classic prawn cocktail, a selection of rock and native oysters, and steamed mussels from West Cork. All served with freshly baked brown bread and a glass of Muscadet, the perfect pairing for a leisurely lunch!
This event is between 12pm and 4pm on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th of October and tickets cost €30. You can find more information and purchase tickets to this event here.

‘Friends of Pichet presents Chef Anna Haugh’

Get up close and personal with Pichet while dining at their chef’s table. Settle into an exclusive front row seat and absorb all the thrilling theatrics and action from the incredibly talented team at Pichet. Lead by Head Chef Stephen Gibson and Chef Anna Haugh, of US TV Show ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ and Gordan Ramsey’s protegé, whom will bring you on a culinary journey savouring the delicious seasonal menu specially created for you that day.
This event will be on October 21st at 17:00pm and tickets cost €65.Visit here for tickets and for more information.

‘Experience a Spanish Flamenco Guitar Night at Salamanca’

Sit back, relax, wine and dine over authentic tapas and excellent wine in the heart of DublinTown. Salamanca restaurant is renowned for it’s great cuisine, fresh produce, and an atmosphere that is the closest to a Spanish Haven that Dublin has to offer, made even more special with Spanish Flamenco guitar music. Their Special Valencian Paella will also be available on the night.
This event takes place on Tuesday October 16th and tickets cost €35. Visit our website for further information and tickets.
