The Dame District is definitely the epicenter of socialising in #DublinTown, gaining Purple Flag status back in 2013. However the area is not only full of hopping pubs and steamy salsa nights, but bursting at the seams with taste bud tingling food joints ready to food porn their way into your breakfast, lunch and dinner schedule. #DineinDublin indeed.

Smokin Bones, Dame Street

Authentic ribs, pulled pork and brisket are the key ingredients of this menu. Based on Dame street, Smokin Bones are a meat lovers dream.

Honest To Goodness, Dame Court

Think fresh, quality and overall delicious ingredients. From Wood Fired Pizza to soups and salads – whatever you fancy – Honest To Goodness stays to true to its name.

The Old Stand, Exchequer Street

This might not be first on your foodie list but don’t underestimate the food offering in The Old Stand. It’s a popular haunt in the Dame District for those eating out before they head to a show and are known for their steak burgers and good wines.

Thai Orchid, Westmoreland Street

Feeling in the mood for some authentic Thai food? Thai Orchid have been trading in Dublin city centre for the last 20 years! Drop in for lunch or dinner and dine in their relaxing atmosphere.

Taco Taco, Dame Court

The Exchequer, Exchequer Street

Keoghs Cafe, Trinity Street

Just need a coffee and a quick snack to keep you going? Keoghs is a family run business within the Dame District adding the homely touch back into your mornings. Step across the doorway and into the sweet smells of freshly baked goods and the aromatic sent of coffee.

The Mercantile, Dame Street

Renowned for being one of Dublin’s favourite late night bars with a great live music scene, The Mercantile also has a fantastic food offering. Enjoy the 19th century surroundings whilst you munch on anything from a full Irish breakfast to the classic fish and chips.

Medley, Fleet Street East

Medley has a cool cafe bistro on the ground floor and upstairs, a private dining and events space. Gorge yourselves on their delicious menu whilst you soak up the New York City vibes.

Millstone Restaurant, Dame Street

Millstone Restaurant’s specialty is steak, with over 7 different cuts of meat to choose from. Also worthy of note is their extensive Gluten Free menu. This is a ‘must try’ on your Dame District Foodie guide for all Coeliac’s out there!

The Bankers, Trinity Street

Dine in a quintessential Irish bar with an array of craft beer and wine to go with your meal! Serving food 7 days a week, why not try their Irish seafood chowder with Chefs Guinness brown bread.

The Exchange Restaurant and Cocktail Bar, Westmoreland Street

This lovely spot is located in The Westin Hotel, providing a premier dining experience. Whether you’re looking for an intimate meal for two or a location for a private party, The Exchange is a stylish brasserie with an art deco twist.
