Cooks Academy Winter Warmer Course – the perfect gift!

When it comes to cooking skills, I would give myself a solid 2.5 out of 10. I would be lying if I told you that I ever even turned on my BBQ… That was until I heard about the Cooks Academy, Weber Winter Warmer course – otherwise known as ‘The Game Changer’!
I had no idea what was in store when I arrived at the city centre cookery school, but I was eager to see if they could change my cooking ways.
After a quick briefing with our teacher/BBQ Master, we got straight into cooking up some mouth-watering dishes that we would never have imagined you could cook on a BBQ! Puddings or smoked soup anyone?
The intensive, hands-on approach meant that everyone got to try out all of the latest barbecue techniques on a range of Weber BBQ’s, including lid on barbecuing, smoking and a range of flavour enhancing techniques!
It was all hands on deck from start to finish – and then you get to dig in (tasting your BBQ creations after all that hard work makes you feel proud as punch!)
The small group sizes, friendly staff & relaxed environment made for a fantastic day at Cooks Academy. We’re warning you though, don’t make any dinner plans for afterwards! 5 courses later, you will be in the most delicious food coma of your life.
The 4 hour course was the perfect combination of education, food tasting and socialising. We also walked away with the full recipe book, so i’ve already picked up everything I need to recreate the Fig & Goats Cheese Flatbread this weekend! This is the gift you have been looking for for that special someone in your life (or maybe even a nice treat for yourself!)
