New Look: Cafe en Seine to Reopen in November
The newly designed bar, Cafe en Seine, is reopening in November and we are loving its new look!
The bar closed its doors earlier this year and was completely gutted to allow for several dining spaces, a host of bars, bespoke event areas and a Parisian inspired street garden. It will reopen to the public in November.
Since establishment in 1993, the Dawson Street bar has become one of Ireland’s leading destination venues and this new look is only going to make it even better.
The extensive food menu, which caters for a range of tastes and occasions, features several dining options including ‘at the bar’ sharing plates for those who are looking for a casual food experience, and a bespoke à la carte menu for those who want to enjoy a meal in the newly designated restaurant.
Café en Seine boasts one of the largest bar spaces in Ireland. Spread across seven areas, the new bars will serve everything from local favourites to high end beers, spirits and cocktails.
Famous for its opulent interiors, Café en Seine will introduce an indoor-outdoor street garden to the iconic venue. The botanical bar and dining area will have its own entrance onto Anne’s Lane to the rear of the building. The Parisian-inspired, conservatory style garden will be suitable for the changeable Irish weather conditions featuring a retractable glass roof. In this unique area, customers can enjoy a casual dining experience during the day and at night, the street garden will transform into a lively bar space.
Continuing to host premium functions and events, Café en Seine is set to offer several event spaces for corporate and occasion bookings. Customers can avail of their own private restrooms and smoking areas along with dedicated service staff.
Announcing the re-opening, David Murray, Café en Seine’s General Manager said:
A lot of thought, research and planning has gone in to the re-design of Café en Seine. We are one of Dublin’s most iconic venues and we want to continue that legacy for many years to come.
He continued that “The new Café en Seine will offer the same great service that we are famous for. To add to this, we have re-imagined the space to ensure it caters for the modern customer. Everything from the venue layout, to the food offering to the drinks service has the customer in mind. We look forward to opening the doors this November welcoming a new era for Café en Seine, its staff and its customers.”
